2012 Holiday Bazaar Wrap Up

I'm back to my neglected blog, and hoping to  be a more dedicated blogger in 2013.
I thought I'd start by giving you a little recap of what my friend Kandi and I have been up to the past few months.  We ended up doing 6 (I think) real craft/holiday bazaars between the end of October and beginning of December, along with 2 informal "open house" shopping times at Kandi's house.

I think we said we were only going to do a couple of bazaars, but think it ended up being the most we have ever done!

Here are a few things we sold this year....

Fabric keys/wristlets.  I made a some that were felt and some that were fabric.

Kandi made these fun "sock cupcakes".  They are always a huge hit, and make great gifts for teachers, co-workers, etc.

I made these little owl treat bags, using the Stampin' Up "Top Note" die.  They are fun....next year I might try reindeer using a cut snowflake for antlers and a red rhinestone or maybe pom-pom nose.  Hmmm.
Here is a basket with some of my tags...
My "Magic Reindeer Food", packaged up in large & small test tubes.
Here are some of the 'singed flower" hair clips and pins.  Lots of fun to make, but kind of time consuming!  Have any of you ever made these?
These are fun, fabric "jumbo clips".  I think these are great teacher gifts.  I gave my sister one once and she said it worked good in her lesson plan book.  :)
Here are Kandi's ruffle scarves.  I love these!  Someday I will learn to knit or crochet...which one is this?  I have no clue!! :)
Here are Kandi's super cute packets of "Snoman Soup".  Love these!
And her new "Rolo Snowmen".  She used the fingers off the stretch gloves to make the hats.  Isn't that clever??
And.....here is a picture of my fabric tissue holders/cozies and the key chains again.

We had more things on the table, but I don't think I managed to get pictures of everything.
I realize I have been making a few things for several years now.
Time to change it up for Bazaar Season 2013.  :)

Oh, and here is a picture of Kandi and Me.  We have been friends since grade school....which was a long time ago. ;)
Happy Crafting!

Wow! I Really Need to Post Something! :)

Summer Greetings!
I always think I will have so much extra time in the summer.....I must be crazy.   It seems I can barely get caught up on laundry. :)

I know for some folks out there, the beginning of school is just around the corner.  I'm in Oregon and we don't start until after Labor Day.  But, in honor of Back to School......I thought I'd share some teacher gifts I made.   Most of the supplies are from Papertrey Ink (stamps & paper anyway).

First up, a little kraft box of notes and a wrapped Hershey's chocolate bar.

Next, more  wrapped candy bars and some teacher cards.  This teacher got some flowers instead of the note box, because I was so last minute and couldn't pull it off.  I can be a procrastinator!!

More cards - these a teeny bit different.  I made this batch for a monthly card swap with some crafty friends.  I keep one, and receive 7 different cards back.  So fun!!

Enjoy the rest of your summer!!
I hope to be back soon with more posts.

Gift Card Holders

A couple of these fun little gift card holders are in my etsy shop now.  I just love this one with the huge rhinestone in the center.  Some people say "less is more", sometimes I disagree. :)

These might be nice little treat for mom, with her favorite gift card tucked in the back?
It's Sunday today and the family is still asleep.  I am enjoying the quiet and a nice cup of coffee!  I know the peace will end soon.  What's on your "to do" list today?  I'm hoping to stay home and clean/organize my house.  My craft room is a sea of colorful chaos.  Ack!

Have a wonderful day~

New Tags & Goodies!

Cheerio!
I just added a few new tags sets into the SHOP tonight.  Hope you like! :)
Still more to come this weekend.......hope you will check back soon.

p.s.  Did you watch the Royal Wedding?  I was actually awake at 3am when it started for us on the West Coast.  I caught a bit of it, but couldn't stay awake.  A beautiful day for them - and William seems so sweet.  What did you think of Kate's gown?  And who knew how many titles they would receive?  Amazing to think you can start the day as Kate, and end up a Duchess, Baroness and more! Wow!
Bye for now~

If Only.......

I could have another wedding!  I think I might just splurge on these fabulous shoes!!  Okay, they may be a **little** over the top.  But really,  how many chances in life are there to wear shoes like these?

Or maybe these little pretties?

If YOU have a special occasion (attending the Royal Wedding maybe?).....you should check out
this Etsy Shop:  Ever Lasting Fashion.
She makes each pair of shoes to order.  WOW.

Just another amazing Etsy Find.  It's so easy to get lost in there. :)

New Flower Pins!

Just added to the shop today - some fresh & fun pins.  Two different styles, the first style is fabric, the second (my favorite) are the silk/organza/tulle flowers.  These are fun to make, but take lots and lots of layers!!  The color possibilities are endless.

 Which is your favorite?

My New Home!

Well, my "new" blog home anyway! In February we switched Internet providers from Frontier to Comcast, and at that time my Posh Paisley blog used a Frontier email as my login. Oops! I didn't realize once we switched that I would be locked out of my own blog. How is Blogger so smart? Well, live and learn. After a month or more of trying to figure out how to get my old blog back, I figured starting a new one was easier. So my tip to you: if you have a blog, or want to start a blog, use a HOTMAIL, GMAIL, YAHOO email account. (Did you know, there are no real people that you can contact at blogger? No help desk, nobody to email...just you. And maybe an online forum you and other lost people read.) Ack. Okay, on with the show! :)

If you would like to visit my previous blog to find out a little more about me, you can find it here: Posh Paisley Blog.

I have added some of my past crafty pictures in the right side bar of THIS blog just for fun! >>>>>>>

So.......welcome to my new and improved "Posh Paisley Studio" Blog! I hope you add me to your favorites and visit often. :)

I'll be back with another post and pictures from a Spring Craft Fair I did yesterday with my Friend Kandi. :)

Have a great Sunday~ Linda
